Friday Facts

#50-My next block of classes start Monday morning. I’m already having nightmares about my Essay writing class.

#51-It’s supposed to snow here on Monday…Of course it is.

#52-I have a great friend from high school that lives in Colorado. We have not connected to in person since March of 1996. We lost contact until about 5 years ago and then were reunited via our high school website. Even though we haven’t seen each other in years, we talk on the phone about twice a week and email quite a bit. Our friendship is very special to me and hopefully! We connect soon!

#53-My husband took me out on a real date last night! Daniel was down visiting Gma and Gpa W getting spoiled rotten(as all good Grandparents do!). With him being gone over night, we took advantage of a little time together. Reconnecting and spending time as Us. We went out for dinner, took a nice walk by the lake and then headed to the grocery store (romantic, I know).

#54-The first week without the 2 big yellow dogs has been a hard one. Every time I walk through the door I’m still surprised to not see them. It’s tough.

#55-Today is my nephew’s 5th birthday. I can’t believe how fast the time goes by. My husband is in charge of his gifts and got him a hammer, some nails and another tool thing I don’t understand how to use. For his 4th birthday, he gave him a saw and a square. (When we give him these gifts, I put a disclaimer in the gift bag.) When Steve was a little guy- for his 4th birthday, his uncle started buying him tools for his toolbox (that he still has) and it was very special to him. I love how he wants to keep up with this tradition.

#56-This week I was informed by Daniel how God puts babies into Mommy’s bellies (are you ready for this?) “Ok Mama, God has a gun (it’s always a gun with Daniel) and the bullets are babies. God shoots the gun in a mommy’s arm and the bullet goes up through the bones because they are tubes and then comes down into your tummy.” I know, right?
