*I'm cleaning again today. I take Daniel to school in Cadillac on Mon,Wens,Friday's and stay in town until he's done doing homework/taking my walk/hanging with my family. Because of this, my house continues to be a mess. I must must must tackle the 4 yr old's bedroom..wish me luck on this one.
*The toy boxes in our house are getting gutted today. Daniel's birthday is a month away as is Christmas and I know there will be additions to this chaos. I plan on sending it all to Goodwill tomorrow!
*Tuesday night I decided to make doughnuts from scratch. They didn't turn out quite like I expected them to do. They would however have made lovely door stoppers. Better luck next time. Maybe it's because I vowed to start eating and baking healthier things....hmmmmm..
*I plan to make lasagna tonight for dinner. It's a quick one from the Weight Watchers book. A friend of mine made it and it was AMAZING. It even has eggplant in it(although you can't taste that). Hopefully my boys love it!
*This weekend I'm taking Daniel to the movie Nim's Island, has anyone seen this? Is it scary? The movie is part of the Cadillac Theater's free fall movies, so I thought we'd check it out. If you've seen it and we shouldn't see it, will you let me know??? Thanks!!!!!
*Next Friday is Steve's Birthday and I've already collected all the ingredients for The Red Velvet Cake. It's been requested by BOTH of my boys and I plan to make it next Thursday since Friday he will be in Beal City coaching football.
*Making calls today to line up the bowling alley for Daniel's Birthday party. One of the downsides of having a very large family would be, there is not enough room at ANY house to hold everyone!! This year we are doing the pizza and bowling party. Daniel is very excited. I hope to snap some pictures this weekend and send out some invites!!
*We haven't been to church on a Wens night in 3 weeks. During football season it is so hard to go mid-week, which happens to be kind of our favorite service(wait...I say the same thing about Sunday's....) Steve doesn't get home from practice until 630-645 and with a 7:00 start time, it takes us out of the picture. I'm excited for football to be over so we can go back to our regularly scheduled program.
