Greetings from St.Ignace! We are ending day 3 of our camping vacation and have packed a TON into it. Forts, trips to Mackinac Island, walks on the beach, roasting marshmallows, and lots of walks/bike rides. I tried to upload some pics, but blogger isn't cooperating with me, I'll have to try again tomorrow. We have an incredible view of Lake Michigan and the bridge and the weather has been pretty nice(no rain so far!!!).
Tomorrow is our last full day and we plan to stay close to the campsite. We will probably spend a few hours at the beach playing, digging in the sand and collecting rocks(we have quite a few!) I hope to get up early and spend my time with God watching the sun come up. I'm not a morning person, so we'll have to see how that turns out.
One last thing I have to share. Today, we were on the ferry riding back from Mackinac Island and it was really a beautiful day- not a cloud in the sky and the water was like glass, the wind was blowing just perfectly and when looking out over the lake and the bridge the view was spectacular.
After a few minutes of silence Daniel turns to us and says with such a sincere tone
"Look at what God made us Mommy, isn't it sooo beautiful?".
I love this kid.

You have a great kid...a child only speaks what he hears... your husband must be a good influence!!! (just kidding -- I couldn't resist!) *Ü*
You are a great mom!
Seriously, my kids say the weirdest, most random things and your child always comes out the the most poignant, sweet little blessings. I'll trade you. (just kidding, I'll just take yours AND keep mine, if you don't mind)
