Hello..My name is Heather...

and I'm a bad blogger.

It's been a week since my last blog and we have been busy! Here are a couple things going on in our corner of the world!

• We arrived home from camping Friday and were all exhausted. SO fun to go, but SOOO great to sleep in your own bed again!!
• The weekend here was very low key. When I say low key? I mean, we slept more than we were awake. I think all of us missed our beds.
• Monday was Ladies night out at church and I had a great time! We have an amazing women's ministry and blessed with an amazing group of women.
• The women's ministry is making a shopping trip to Chicago in November, I am REALLY excited about it. I have never been to Chicago to just go and hang out. The best part? I get to go with some of my most favorite people!!
• Football season is in full swing for the year. This is the first time in 5 years my husband is back to full-time coaching. We are not sure what the season will bring, but are hopeful for lots of wins!!!
• Back to School shopping has begun. Daniel's new backpack and lunch box arrived last week and he is getting very very excited to start using it.
• I have an orthodontist appointment today to find out when these beauties come off my teeth. Hopefully! in the next few months. I look forward to straight smooth teeth, opposed to the bumpy metal stuff on them now...
• I am in desperate need to carve out some creative time. I haven't created anything in a little over a month and am long over due. Thinking I might need to escape for the afternoon on Sunday.
• Monday Daniel and I hope to head to Grand Rapids for a little end of the summer trip to the zoo and spend some time with friends.

That's just about it. Nothing else going on here. We plan to spend this weekend finishing up the siding on our house. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Be blessed!!
