This weekend is going by so fast. With Steve having Friday off, we decided to spend the entire
day hanging out as a family. We got our lunch on the go and took it down to Lake Cadillac(per Daniel's request!) Now in the summer when we do this, we love to sit out by the lake and enjoy the fresh air. However, there is tons of ice on the lake still and the weather wasn't considered picnic weather. We did sit in the car and ate our lunch while watching the fisherman catching fish on the ice and talked about how we can't wait for spring and sunshine! After our lunch by the lake, in the car(doesn't sound as fun as it was!), we joined a few friends and went to see "Horton Hears a Who." It was a very cute movie with funny characters. I wasn't so sure I would like it. I didn't love Cat in the Hat and wasn't' that impressed with the Grinch, so another Dr.Seuss movie was not something I was looking forward to. It was great and very different than the others! Daniel laughed so hard and really did great sitting still. All the way up until the last 20 mins when he discovered his light up shoes would be REALLY bright in the nice dark theater. The people in the row with us, got a light show for a bonus! Once we got home, we decorated some Easter Eggs with Daniel's new Pirate Easter Egg kit. Because really, nothing says "Happy Easter" quite like Pirates of the Caribbean!
Thanks so much Midland Watkins crew!
We love you and are SO grateful for all you do for us!!!
