Thankful

Whew! I'm not sure how i've made it to Wens. But, it's here.
My first few days of work have been fabulous. I enjoy the people
I work with and really enjoy staying busy! Daniel is adjusting well,
we've only had 1 bump in the road, but after a LONG talk last night,
things are A.O.K! A big huge thank you to my sweet hubby who has
really stepped it up around the house lately. Laundry, making dinner,
and just pulling everything together. Love you bubba..you're the best!!!
Tonight i'm preparing our last minute Thanksgiving meal.
Steve is feeling under the weather right now, so we've decided
to just stick around the house and take it easy. Get everyone rested
and well over the weekend and then start fresh next week.
I'm preparing a ham(not a fan of turkey)cheesy potato's, green bean casserole(of course),
a few other dishes here and there and Of course I can't forget the pumpkin pie(with toasted pecans) and cheesecake-my adorable little boy's favorite!.
I love this time of year. Love the warmth my house has in it, the smell of the furnace, the warm sweaters that I pull out of the back of the closet, the down duvet I bought us years ago that i'm completely in love with-still, and how we are reminded to stop and Thank God for all the blessings we have in our life.
I received an email from my aunt the other day and it really touched my heart. It wasn't a forward, a joke, or even one of those "if you don't send this to 50 people, you'll lose your arm in 13 mins". It was simple, she created an email telling those that she loved how much she loved them, how she Thanks God for them, and that God is good. Just a quick note, something that took less than 10 mins to create yet i'm sure made the day of each person that received it..
How many of those do we receive in a day? This is my first. How awesome.
I thought about how we never say that enough. We never tell those we are thankful for them or how much we love them and how much joy and happiness they bring to our lives. I was touched. It made my day and really made me stop and realize that I don't spend enough time telling those I love and care about how much I appreciate them and love them. I need to tell them more that I thank God for them, and what they bring to my life everyday!
~Thanks Aunt Sheila! Today i'm thanking God for you!
You are an awesome woman of God!
I'm thankful for so much today that my heart is over-flowing. I'm thankful for such an amazing husband and little boy. Thankful for the unconditional love they give to me each and everyday, making me want to be a better wife, mommy and woman. I'm thankful for 2 fantastic sets of parents, that are always supportive and always in my corner. I'm also thankful for an awesome Mother and Father in law who are so fabulous, I can't even put it into words. I'm blessed with amazing friends who provide an amazing support system to me! Thankful for the Men and Women who put their life and families on hold each and everyday to keep our country free.
Most importantly,
Thanks to God for all the blessings he pours out to my family each and everyday!
Enjoy tomorrow, eat, watch the parade, nap, read books, eat some more, spend time with the ones you love either in a big group of family or in a small intimate gathering of loved ones.. Remember to Thank God for all the blessings in your life!
Happy Thanks giving.
Love to you all!!!
