I'm terrible at Christmas time.
Seriously, i'm awful.
People ask me what i'd want,
what do I need, and I have a hard time
coming up with things.
Last week, I found something I not only
needed, but fell in LOVE with.
New dishes!!!
After shopping one afternoon, I found a
bowl to a set of plates that I fell in love
with. I rushed back to show my Mother-in-law
(who happens to love the same colors I do).
When I told her I found exactly what
I had been looking for, we agreed on
that for my Christmas present!
The best part? I got to take them home
this weekend!!!
Our dishes have been pretty rough.
chips, broken pieces.. we were really
ready for a new set. I just couldn't
find something that called to me.
Now, I have them.
The colors of the set are some of the
same colors I hope to paint our kitchen/
kitchen cupboards with this winter!
Sea greens, mustard and apricot...so warm!
Tonight I pulled them all out of the bags,
unwrapped each plate/salad plate and bowl
and can't wait to use them.

Love the new dishes....I received those same bowls, along with the serving bowl and platter, for Christmas last year from my mother-in-law! Hopefully, you got them on Kohl's big sale days last week!
