All Set!

Tomorrow morning we will begin our very first family camping experience.
Otsego State Park. Located about an hour and 1/2 from us, but
still far enough away to feel like we're on vacation! Equipped with a beach,
bathhouses, playground, fishing, trails for hiking and electricity..
The definition of camping to me and to my sweet hubby are VERY different.
He grew up a boy scout. As an adult he holds an eagle scout patch, he has had
the opportunity to hike various places in Michigan and has spend many many
weekends camping in the roughest spots. He likes to "rough" it.
He knows how to make fire with a stick and a rock and can tie just about any knot you could possibly need.
I'm married to Mr. Outdoors man himself..
Now, when I camp- I make sure the toaster's packed, air-mattress,hair dryer, cute camp lights, electric frying pan, Ipod and a few other "necessities".
Everything he would need to camp with can be packed in a hiking pack..
With marriage also comes compromise..
I have his pickup truck packed full, my car loaded up and
i'm trying to figure out how to put a few odds and ends tucked into
other places!
He loves me. He just spends alot of time shaking his head.

The boys plan on spending lots of time just the 2 of them and i'm
happy to stand back and let them "bond" while Steve teaches Daniel
all about the great outdoors.
My Ipod is charged up with some new songs,
My Bible and my new Daily Devotional book(thank you Mom-in-law)
are packed and ready for me to begin.
I look forward to spending some time in the sun and
walking in the nice fresh air every morning!!!
Can't wait.
I will report back on Friday night when we return, hopefully
we're not only still married, but still speaking to each other!

Have a great week everyone!!!
