I apologize ahead of time about this post...
There are so many things I LOVE about living in the country.
People out here are so nice and friendly,It's extremely quiet
and laid back out here, Most of our
neighbors are in bed before 9pm(farmers after all)
however, on days like today..I long to live in the city.
See, along with living in the country comes fun things
like Septic Systems. YEP. F-U-N..
Today, my wonderful husband, my loving brother and
his friend spent 4 1/2 hours at the end of a shovel digging
to fix our septic system. Yeah, it was about
as much fun as you can guess... What's better, tomorrow
morning, they'll finish the project!
Over here, we're having a wicked fun weekend!
However, spending this time at the
end of the shovel(in extremely hot weather) is saving
our little family $3,000. I know what you're thinking, sometimes, it is money well
spent, but with all the home renovations we are in the middle
of, the $3,000 can be used in other places!
On days like today, I long to live in the city, where when you
flush your toilet, you have no idea where it goes..
On a good note, my new camera arrived yesterday, i'm having a great
time reading about all the different functions on it. I'm sure
i'll just switch it to Auto and snap away, but its always
nice to at least "know" what the rest of them are supposed to do!!
