Watkins family adventures

First of all, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has called/emailed asking where we need help. Right now honestly we need everything, so to make a list is nearly impossible. But I do appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers!!

I think I'm getting into a groove. Today I found myself at an appt this morning, reading 25 stories to the twins and Daniel, picked the older boys up at school and then took Daniel to the Dr's to get his hand checked out(oh yeah- Daniel spent last night at the ER due to touching the muffler of the riding lawn mower! He has 2nd degree burns on his left hand. Not in pain anymore, but still wrapped with cream on it!!) I'm finding myself either always in the kitchen or folding laundry. I'm in awe of how many dishes we can create with this many people AND how much laundry there is-especially since these kids have no clothing right now. I'm still trying to figure out how to organize all of us, where to put things(I have NO storage) and a few other kinks to work out. BUT, each day I get better. I'm actually proud that it's 10:45pm, I've done my homework and I'm actually almost ready to fall asleep. The dishes are pilled in the sink(great week for my dishwasher to break), laundry is still folded on the table...but it will be there tomorrow-I'm sure!!

Have a great night.
Be Blessed!!!

I wanted to tell you to be sure and check out the WIC program for the younger kids. I know that our foster children automatically qualified for this, because they are considered wards of the state. I just can't remember what age that goes to? But worth checking out!

You posted a comment on my blog over the last week so I've been returning the favor and your story has really touched me. How lucky these children are to have you. Could you please send me the sizes of the kids? I'd love to send them some pajamas - I know that's sometimes something that gets left out when times are tough and I know they make everyone feel cozy and safe.
