Today was just a great day.
Ever have those?
No bills in the mail(thats always nice), lunch with a few sweet friends -followed by a trip to a very interesting dollar store, a couple hours to hang with my hubby, a phone call from my little brother that was SO needed. I miss him so much sometimes, it hurts my heart. A quick phone call from my sweet little boy who is getting spoiled beyond belief at Gma and Gpa's this week, a church service that was seriously AWESOME, and then a nice long waquiet walk.
It was just a great day.
Tomorrow we are heading to Midland for a few days for the big family reunion(that turned out to be not so big this year). I plan to lay low, meet up with Greta girl for dinner(YAY!!!),pick up a few things at the mall, check out an antique show Sat morning and then hang with my sitter-in-law for a concert Sat night. We haven't spent much time in Midland this summer with all the action going on up here lately. It will be nice to get away and spend some time with our family.
Right now I'm off to finish up the 3 hours of homework I've put off all day and finish packing. Tomorrow is our last day to sleep in before the I'm-wide-awake-at-6am-4yr-old arrives back at home. I look to savor it to the last minute!

Dollar Dave's? This sounds intriguing! I'm glad you're getting some much-needed Mommy alone time. Hopefully you guys can get down here soon before football craze sets in!
