This Sunday, our little boy reached a big mileston
e. When we were on our way home I noticed a sticker on his shirt, but I couldn't quite make out what it said. When I asked, he told me
e. When we were on our way home I noticed a sticker on his shirt, but I couldn't quite make out what it said. When I asked, he told me "Mommy, today in Sunday School I told Jesus I love him so much that I gave him my heart".
I cried.
Wait I take that back.....
I wept.
You know the cry, where your eyes are swollen and you can't really stop?Yep..That was me.
I was so happy and SO proud of this little guy.
Want to know the best part? He was really excited about it too! He now asks everyone he meets if Jesus lives in their heart. It's so cool.
As parents we try so hard to show our Children who Christ is and how important he is in our life, this told me we have done our job.
And Sunday, he loved Jesus so much he wanted Him in his heart.
I love this little boy so much and I hope as parents we can contiune to guide him into
being an awesome man of God!
Writing about it has me tearing up again..

That is aweseome for Daniel and your family...the most important decision he will ever make! And a child will lead them, that's what the Bible says! And Heather, I can totally relate....I was present when both of the kids asked Jesus into their hearts, and there is nothing, nothing, NOTHING better as a mother. These little ones have their best friend where He needs to be. Kennedy took communion with us for the first time on Sunday and let me tell you, no works can describe the joy. Amazing.
