Daniel and I had big plans to wake up this morning and head off to the Zoo in Grand Rapids. Eat at a yummy place for dinner and maybe even stay overnight and swim in the pool. However, the weather had other things in mind. Another day of rain. ANOTHER one. I love rain and know it's needed, but I'm a little sick of it. Ok, I'm A LOT sick of it.
Instead of heading to the zoo, we spent some time reading stories, constructing things out of play-doh, making Daddy's Fathers Day cards and picked up our new bunny! We've been talking about getting a new addition for the family and decided since we have a empty place with the two big dogs gone, we decided on a new bunny instead of a Lab puppy for now(and those who know me realize the puppy will happen, just not quite yet!). Sorry for not posting pictures, but I haven't uploaded my camera yet. I will certainly do that tomorrow and show off our new sweet bunny "stripey". Super cute little thing and a very very small one!!
Anyways...this week I have LOTS of things to do, seems like I'm packing a 100 things into the next 3 days. My final project due next week for this block of classes(can't believe how fast time goes), our annual garage sale this weekend, The Midland Watkins clan up here for the weekend and Steve is gone until Thursday afternoon. YIKES- no wonder I'm exhausted!!

Hey there girl! Sorry the rain forced you to change your plans. But, sounds like you kept plenty busy. In the midst of all your busy-ness, take some time for yourself and just breath, okay?! I hope the rest of the week goes splendidly for you!
You guys should have still come...it was a beautiful mostly-summy and hot day here! Let us know when you are rescheduling, and we'd love to meet you for lunch and the zoo. The new lions are here!
