Finally Friday.

Did you see gas prices today?
Up here in the beautiful North, it hit $4.22.
OhMYGOODNESS.
And the best part? I drive 30 miles ONE WAY to the grocery store. These out of control gas prices are really ticking me off. Did you see the news yesterday when the President to one of the oil companies talked about how the company profited $12million last year, and when asked what he did with the profits "we reinvested in our company".
OH I'M SOOO SURE.
I'm nervous to see what it does with the groceries and how it starts to effect us in other ways. Could be a scary summer/winter. And the other thing that ticks me off? The Cadillac area/Traverse City area have some of the highest gas prices of anywhere in the country. That's fantastic since our entire Northern Michigan depends on tourists. These prices will not only hurt the state(that could use help, not more hurt) but also, some of our local towns that depend on people visiting! If you are reading this and are from out of town, If you plan on traveling this summer, stay local!!! Support the cute towns we are blessed to have in Northern Michigan and keep them in business!
Ok..enough of that for now...

I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend. We plan on laying low around the house(especially with gas prices). My Mother and Father in law are heading up tomorrow to spend the day hanging out with us(and to get put to work!!) The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I can't wait to spend most of it outside enjoying the sunshine!

Have a blessed and Safe weekend!
And please lift Steve Curtis Chapman's family in your prayers today as he and his family are dealing with the tragic loss of their little girl Maria.
