Monday

I'm not sure if I posted this or not, but a couple weeks back, my baby brother got married!
We were VERY shocked and very surprised, but excited at the same time. He is leaving for Germany in Feb and now will be accompanied by his new wife! They did a very small ceremony at the court house, just our parents and her Mother, Small and intimate... When they return in 2009, they plan on having a big celebration with family and friends. But for now, it was just about them being united and together.
We are extremely happy for them and wish them the best as they begin their life together.
Jeff and April, we are so excited to see all the great things God has in store for you! In your journey..remember that for a marriage to work, it takes 3!

I'm now in the processes of planning a wedding shower for my new sister-in-law before she heads over to German in the begining of April. I'm working on a cookbook for her. Fun easy recipes for them to create. If you have a favorite recipe that is user friendly, please pass it on to me!!!

My weekend was fantastic. I had a great time spending Saturday with "the girls"(we missed those of you that couldn't be there!!). Laughing, creating, eating yummy mexican food and more laughing. I would love to report that I got tons of scrapbooking done, however, I spent more time shopping and gabbing(its hard to believe, I know) But..I had an amazing time and am really blessed with such great friends! The one project I am starting is a scrapbooking challenge. 52 projects in 1 year. I'm looking forward to this and hope that everything works in my favor to complete it. If everything does work out- i'll have an amazing book of 52 layouts. I hope to keep posting them once a week, however..life does happen and i'm sure there will be bumps in my road.

Have a blessed week. I'm off to make some dinner, finish up on laundry and play Uno Attack!
If you would, please keep Steve in your prayers this week. He has a few health tests coming up and he's a bit nervous. Pray that God just calms him and wraps him in his arms.
