Monday Monday..

I've been in a bit of a creative mood the past few days. I did 4 layouts this weekend and even completed one in 60 mins(Thanks for the challenge Nicci!) Sometimes I'm really in the mood to scrap and can't think of anything else. Every show I watch, magazine I pick up screams a new layout to me. Other times(like the past month) I can't pull a scrapbook page together if someone picked everything out for me. Guess creativity is funny like that. I've been pulling photos out of the picture box I have and just scrapping whatever I grab. I love scrapping baby photos and ones from just a month ago. I love not working in order. Not worrying about where to place the pages in the book.

This weekend we spent alot of time laying low. Playing Uno Attack(of course)

doing laundry(YAY the washer is working again!), doing flashcards of our letters

and sounds and have been working on this map.

We have so many friends and family members all across the country, we thought it would be cool to hang up a map with sticky notes showing Daniel where everyone lives. (so he doesn't keep asking why we can't just drive over to Aunt Angi's house in South Carolina)We have it hanging on the wall in our dining room, so we can see it all the time. Its been fun having him point out Michigan and all the states around us. He can point out Michigan, Texas, South Carolina and Arizona.(of course it does help that Daddy is a geography teacher..)
