I haven't posted in a couple days.

Here are a few updates.

*We still have NO heat in our building. Today the temp is 63degrees.

Still wearing long johns and boots everyday.

*Our tree is up! YAY! I'll post some pictures tonight when I make

it home. I love putting up the tree. But to me, it looks the best

with white lights. However, my 4yr old who apparently has

an opinion now, decided that wasn't good enough.

"mommy, where are the colored lights for the tree?"

"i'm not sure where they are buddy(while thinking...they are

in the box over there-don't open it..)"

Daddy says "There are 4 boxes of them right here.."

Now, my beautiful simple tree is gone..

It has white lights, colored lights, lights that blink and even

lights that sing songs. But, he loves it. And really, this is

all about him.. Someday i'll go back to a simple tree.

One with pretty ornaments and more my taste.

Until then, our tree looks like it belongs on the vegas strip!

*My Christmas shopping is almost complete.

Thank God for online shopping which gives me more

options and I can do it at 230am(like last night).

Now if I could just get the Christmas Card/Letter completed

and out this weekend....
