I love my new job. Really, its fun and I work with great people.

My only complaint is, it's cold..I mean F R E E Z I N G!!

Our new dealership is the old Kmart building that's been remodeled since

Kmart went out of business 5+ years ago. Its a big building, HUGE

They've done a great job with the space and it looks great.

the only problem- we still have no heat.

None. At All.

And it's TOO COLD IN Northern Michigan to not have heat!!!

Last week I found myself sitting at my little space at the counter

with my teeth chattering. Thinking to myself,

"self, why aren't we wearing boots and hats and mittens and long johns."

So the next day I went to work dressed for the arctic.

Long johns, 2 pairs of socks, 4 layers of shirts, mittens, and a coat.

And everyone laughed at me.

However, as they were laughing and freezing- fighting

for space in front of the tiny space heater, I was comfy and warm sitting in my chair!!
Everyday since, I arrive to work with enough clothing to stay somewhat warm.

I hate wearing a coat. I never do it. I like vests and sweaters, coats are too bulky..

But, they leave me no choice.

Tonight I came home cold to my core, my layers weren't enough.

It was REALLY cold up here today.

The highest temperature it got in our office today was 53.

Outside it was 22. So it was COLD inside and out.

Its bad. My muscles hurt because I was tense most of the day.

I'm exhausted from it. It's only 9pm and i'm heading to bed.

Hopefully tomorrow..The heat is working!!!

On the plus side, Steve had a snow day today and got to spend the

day with Mr.Daniel.

What's so funny about this? Last night before Daniel went to bed

he said "mommy, I wish I could spend just one more day at home with

my Daddy before I go back to school and daycare."

I told him he couldn't and that tomorrow we had to get back

in the swing of things, especially after having such a rough week last week.

He was really happy this morning when he found out his little wish came true!
