Walk like A Duck!!

Daniel had his first night of skating lessons and had a great time! He started out rough, but ended up being one of the best beginners on the ice! He was up walking/skating around after about 5 mins. I'm amazed at how fast he catches onto things. We weren't encouraged to come onto the ice, let him figure it out on his own.. I stood on the other side of the glass and everytime he fell I swear my backside hurt for him. The lessons are 1/week and are about an hour long. At about 5 mins before they were scheduled to come off the ice he was done, but is very excited to go back next week. In the bathtub last night he was telling me that I need to go skating with him..When I told him I'm not a good skater he says

"mama, all you have to do is walk like a duck!"

Good lord..what have we got ourselves into?

Have a great day..i'm off to find hockey skates(and gloves and a helmet because he seen a big boy wearing all that stuff) hopefully I can find them on ebay!!!
