Where has the week gone? Here are some highlights from my out of control week!
*Tuesday, the Spider cupcakes went over HUGE at preschool. All the kids loved them and ate 2 each(i'm sure all the Mom's and Dad's were excited about that increase of sugar for the day!) Friends at school brought Daniel some cute gifts and sang Happy Birthday To You and he even got to make and wear a birthday crown!
*Wens brought Daniel's real 4th birthday, and it was all about HIM! He got to chose breakfast, lunch, dinner and what we did inbetween. When we woke up I asked him what he would LOVE to do he wanted to stay home and have a Jammie day!YAY! We played games, sang songs, played pirates(evidently, Daddy is a much better pirate than I am and I was told to just keep being a "mommy". ok then.) Lunch-Fishsticks and Daddy came home to eat them with us! Dinner was pizza cassorole(actually it was Italian Stuffed shells, but my sweet little boy thinks they taste like pizza...) After dinner Mr.Gary and Mrs. Roxanne invited us over to their house so Daniel could drive us all around the lake for a sunset boat cruise. .

*Thursday brought a trip to the Pediatrician for 6-YES 6! shots. 3 in each leg. While we cried, and I mean ALL of us(including Mommy and Daddy),we did very good, got 2 suckers and then home to watch TV for the rest of the morning. We spent the rest of the day chilling out, reading stories and getting lots of extra hugs(both of us needed it after that..)

*Friday we were off to Midland for the annual Midland High vs. Midland Dow football game. Rainly, sleeting, cold, windy and ick! We did stick it out for the entire game though! Troopers is what we are. We lost the game, but the Chargers did give it thier all in the 2nd half.. I didn't take any pictures because we spent almost the whole game under the blankets!!!
The bowling was a blast. Everyone from my 2yr old niece Katie to the older boys had a great time. Pizza was yummy and the presents were also appreciated! Excuse the bad pictures. For some reason, Birthday party pictures NEVER turn out for me. The place we were in had REALLY bad lighting, my son is always interested in everything around him except me and my camera, it just never works out. So, they are blurry, I rarely have any good pics of him, but atleast I can remember who was there!!!!

Today brought church in the morning, brunch with our family, and then a trip to the Pumpkin Patch this afternoon. Such a beautiful day in Northern Michigan, we didn't want to waste it! Pumpkin picking, petting the animals, wagon rides, a climb on the hay stacks, yummy homemade doughnuts, crisp cold apple cider and spending time with great friends...Such a perfect way to spend a Sunday!!

It looks like you had an amazing party! Somehow, the stress that Mommy's often face when planning these sorts of things are well worth it, because they are simply magical to our little ones! And now you have until next October to recuperate!
