We had a pretty relaxing weekend.
Nothing big planned, just the way we like it!
Spent Thursday night in Midland for the first home football game of the season. Our team lost in over-time, but it was alot of fun. Daniel of course enjoyed the band and the cheerleaders.
We spent Sat morning home doing chores and spent the evening with some friends enjoying a nice dinner and a quiet boat ride along a small lake. Thank you Gary & Roxanne, we had an awesome time! We always love hanging out with you and relaxing on your big beautiful porch!
Sunday and Monday were spent at Grandma's doing odds and ends to the house. Daniel enjoyed a nice refreshing dip in Lake Cadillac. One last swim before the fall.
When I was crossing the road back to Grandma's house, I noticed this tree in her front yard..The first real sign of fall. It's bittersweet for me. I love fall, it's my favorite season, but I will miss the lazy days of summer..
