Fall has arrived.
Not technically, I believe the actual first day
of fall has yet to come.
But, you can tell up here it has already arrived.

Cool days, crisp nights, trees starting to turn colors
and the other morning there was actually
FROST on the ground.
As soon as the days start to cool off, i'm ready for
comfort food. Sunday afternoon I pulled the big stock pot out of storage,
and got out our favorite wooden spoon to make a HUGE pot
of Potato Soup and a fresh loaf of bread to go with it!
So yummy on a crisp fall day.
There's a TON leftover-anyone want some??
Things around here are going well.

Daniel has the sniffles right now, nothing like the start
of school to spread all the germ bugs around.

Because of the rain, we only made it through half time,
and then we went over to Grandma and Grandpas to catch some
sleep until Daddy got back from the game.
Here's Daniel enjoying a little night time story with Grandma
(On her new couch..isn't it beautiful!!)
We spent the rest of the weekend
taking it easy and hanging out at home.
Slept, cleaned, ate, read, slept some more.
I even got a couple scrapbook pages done!
I hope to post them later on..
But, for now, i'm going to finish up laundry and then
head to bed! School tomorrow means mommy has
to get UP early!!!
