Camping pictures and a Sunny Saturday

I said i'd post a few pictures of our Camping trip. Looking through them, I really only took a handful. I really went into this trip promising I would take less pictures and spend more time with my family out from behind the camera.

Here are a few of my favorites.
This was Daniel's first camping/fishing trip. Sometimes I laugh so hard at him, he says the funniest things.. When we got to the place we decided to fish from, we got him all set up with his pole and ready to go..After about 5 mins he says to us.."are you SURE there are fishies in that water??" He wasn't convinced.. He also decided the Pirates Of the Caribbean fishing pole he had picked out wasn't quite good enough, he wanted to use Daddy's. We didn't get to catch any fish but my Dad joined us and he caught a little blue gill.











Daniel found that the water spout was LOTS of fun.
He spent alot of time hanging out here playing in the nice cold water
and splashing around in the puddles that surround it..




Spent most of today in Midland catching up with Mom and Dad W.
A GREAT BIG thank you to them for watching Maggie and Truman for us while we camped.
We appreciate you always being willing to watch them for us! You're the best!


*Laundry-WOW a week of camping and my laundry area smells like a campfire
*Unpacked and cleaned up all the camping gear.
*tried to catch up on a few shows I had TiVo'd while I was gone..
*Made a quick easy dinner.
*working on a scrapbooking get-together with all my girls from SisTv...should be VERY fun..
*Read some good night stories to Daniel while convincing him Mommy and Daddy are not being mean by not letting him spend the night at Grandma and Grandpas house!
*Cuddled up on the coach and made out with my hubby for a little while..
(probably too much sharing here..)
*Worked on a few cards/scrapbook layouts including a circle journal i'm involved in that includes 11 girls from all over the world. Should be interesting to see how it comes together..
