Finally Friday!

Schools officially out, and my sweet hubby is EXHAUSTED!
When he came home from school tonight I had fresh steaks,
yummy red-skinned potatoes and a nice dessert all ready to be
made for whenever he thought he wanted to eat. However, his
first request was my home-made pizza. So..out came all the ingredients
for that! Tomorrow night he'll grill the steaks up and we'll eat our
"end of the year" dinner then!
I'm so happy to have him home for the summer. Last summer I was
a fresh business owner and we had NO time to spend together. This
summer i'm all his! I'm still not sure how its going to work...will we
kill each other? hmmm..guess we'll have to wait and see.
9 weeks of togetherness is ALOT of time!!!
No big summer plans for us, some camping, visits to the beach, alot of our trips
are going to be in Michigan this year due to high gas prices!
I am however, planning a MUCH needed trip to South Carolina to visit my very best friend
and her beautiful girls(oh yeah, and her very kind and sweet and tolerable and lovable and..ok, now i'm just pushing it..husband.) in the first part of August, other than that..
Our family is hanging close to home.
We're looking forward to a nice relaxing summer!

Nothing big happening here today. Daniel is still feeling a bit under
the weather. Sniffy nose, sore throat and just a little grumpy.
We thought we had this beat a week ago..but it looks like its back.
Mom's always know when to have their kids take it easy,
I should just start trusting myself more..
Tomorrow we plan on planting the garden, cleaning up the yard from
all the branches that fell from the storm the other night and taking
it easy! I plan on doing some scrapbooking with my new SIS kit that
came in the mail Tues. I opened it up and all the products look super
fabulous! Can't wait to play with it!
