Just another Day..

After 2 days with Grandma and Grandpa I believe
my little boy was very ready to be home with Mommy
and Daddy. He barely let me out of his sight. We hung
out pretty close all day. I love spending my days with
him. He's seriously the coolest person I know.





Here are just a few random pictures from our day.
A nice cuddly morning under the covers when it
was SOOO cold in our house. I love it when for a
few minutes he forgets he's a "big boy" and just
wants to be my baby. Cuddled up with my arms around
him wanting to be close to me. We got through almost an
entire movie before he decided to be up and running.
We spent the afternoon working on the rummage sale
and then had Daniels favorite for lunch- Mac and Cheese.
Then we were off for afternoon rests and Mommy's time
to clean up!
Lately, he loves to talk about remembering. We play
what I call the remember game...For instance....
"Hey Mommy- remember when I was the mommy and
you were the son?" Hmmm...we just let that go...
OR..."Hey Mommy- Remember when I was in yours
tummy?" Yep..sure do remember that.." I loved being
in yours tummy!" Here's another one I love..
"Hey Mommy, remember when I was just born and
peed all over the doctors?"
(Daddy told him that story for the record-Not me!)


He came down this afternoon from his rest with his
Mickey Mouse ears on from Disney World and we played
the remember game from our trip to Disney World.
When we took him there, we figured he'd forget all about it
after a few months. NO WAY.
He remembers everything! I'm so glad we decided to
take him even though we tried to talk ourselves out of it.
He still wears his ears everywhere..
Outside...at dinner.. to the park...I put my foot down when
he asked to wear them to church!
Sometimes I wish I was that innocent.
That I didn't care if I looked silly or funny.
He doesn't care what people think of him.
He thinks they are cool, they have all the disney characters on them
and he's reminded of an awesome family vacation to the happiest spot on earth!


I love this little boy!
Our day ended with some cuddle time on the couch. Steve
captured this moment after I read the 10th story of the
night. I never seem to have pictures of Daniel and I. I guess
i'm always the one behind the camera. I'm going to make a point
to put myself in front of the camera more...

Thought for today:
Its not only important to pour your heart and soul into something,
the really important things require much more than that!
