Just another Rainy Day!

As of today, our WildBlue satellite system is all ready to go! We are so excited to be away from the world of dial-up! We've had some problems over the past week with it, but now all the kinks are worked out and we are rolling!! YAY!!
Its been a quiet day around here. Laundry, cleaning and getting ready for the upcoming garage sale! I'm so thankful for garage sales, but getting ready for it is out of control. My entire dining room is wall to wall-JUNK! I hate to say junk, because as we all know, 1 mans trash is another mans treasure! So...for the past few days we've been going through totes, totes and more totes! I love cleaning and getting rid of old stuff, it feels so good. I heard someone say one time- if you don't get rid of old stuff, you have no room for new! I agree 100%. I think its the way with our souls also. There is a book by Pastor Duane VanderKlok called "Junk in your Trunk" its about letting go of the past hurts and feelings(junk) and living a better life. I think everyone at some point should read it! If we just dumped all the hurt, anger, and the rest of the junk out of our lives, we would make room for all the great things God has in store for us. We need to remember to forgive others as God forgives us. No holding grudges, no"I'll forgive, but I can't forget" because that's not how God forgives us. When we ask him for forgiveness, he gives it to us completely-we have clean slate! All you have to do is ask Him! Isn't that awesome??
